Happy February!

It’s the first of February and we can already feel the love (and chill) in the air! This is a great time of year to come in for portraits. We have more flexibility for appointment times and its a fun outing for the kids that doesn’t require lots of bundling up. Our studio’s are full of fun Valentine’s Day accents that would help create a lovely mid-winter surprise for all of your Valentine’s!

2018 Bring Your Own Prop Contest-Winners!

The winners have been chosen for this year’s Bring Your Own Prop Contest! Every June, we ask our families to bring in a prop from home to use in their portraits. We always love seeing what they come up with! Its a great way to personalize your portraits for a gift, or to document what your child is into at this point in their childhood. You don’t need to wait until next June to bring something in though–we are happy to photograph anything you bring in for us! We love the creative challenge!

4th Annual Bring Your Own Prop

With Father’s Day right around the corner, we want to officially kick off our 4th Annual Bring Your Own Prop Contest. This month, we encourage you to bring in something personal from home that will make your portraits with us extra special. It can be something Father’s Day related to make Dad’s gift that much better, or it can just be something meaningful to the family.

Three winners will be chosen from a panel of judges. First Prize will get a $250 Portrait Simple Gift Card, Second Prize will get a $100 Portrait Simple Gift Card, and Third Prize will get a $50 Portrait Simple Gift Card.

We love this month because it gives us a chance to really get to know our families!

Featured Prop: (Fake) Baby Chicks

With Easter comes eggs, and with eggs comes baby chicks! This adorable prop is just the perfect amount of springtime. Pair it with a witty saying on one of our chalkboards and you have the perfect Spring photo! This is also perfect if you come in for bunny photos and your child isn’t too keen on the idea of posing with a REAL live animal.
