2019 Smile for a Cure Portrait Contest

 

Every July, we run an annual portrait contest called Smile for a Cure to benefit JDRF (formally known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). For a $10 donation, you get a free 5×7 and a chance to enter your child’s portrait in one of the 3 age groups in our contest (babies, toddlers, and big kids).

This July, over $1500 was raised for this wonderful cause. A big “thank you!” to all who entered!

Our judges have selected the top image per studio in each category, totaling in 16 finalists. All will receive a gift card to Portrait Simple for at least $100. If they make it to the top 3, they’ll win a $500 or $1,000 gift card instead!

Now it’s up to YOU to select the final three! Online voting is open now through Saturday, August 31st. Once voting is closed, and the top three are determined, the panel of judges will rank them, choosing a first and second runner up, as well as a Grand Prize Winner.

2019 Bring Your Own Prop Contest

This is such a fun contest for us! We ask our clients to use their creativity and bring in a prop or something personal for their shoot. We always love seeing what they come up with! Here are this years winners!

The chill is starting to leave the air and we are sunshine and all thing Spring in our studios. The most cheerful thing being our lovable little bunnies that come to play with us every year. 5th Annual Bring Your Own Prop

June is here and that means our Bring Your Own Prop Contest is underway. This is a great opportunity to make your portraits personal by bringing in something that is extra special to you and your family. Or, you can finally execute that Pinterest idea you’ve been thinking about!

Three winners will be chosen from a panel of judges. First Prize will get a $250 Portrait Simple Gift Card, Second Prize will get a $100 Portrait Simple Gift Card, and Third Prize will get a $50 Portrait Simple Gift Card.
