2018 Bring Your Own Prop Contest-Winners!

The winners have been chosen for this year’s Bring Your Own Prop Contest! Every June, we ask our families to bring in a prop from home to use in their portraits. We always love seeing what they come up with! Its a great way to personalize your portraits for a gift, or to document what your child is into at this point in their childhood. You don’t need to wait until next June to bring something in though–we are happy to photograph anything you bring in for us! We love the creative challenge!

6th Annual Bring Your Own Prop Contest

Every year, we run a contest where we allow our clients to come in with a special item from home to incorporate into their session. The idea originally came about because we thought “What better gift for Dad than seeing his kids photographed with his favorite item??” It was a way to make Father’s Day even more special for Dad. We’ve had a lot of fun with these submissions over the years. Below is a collection of a few examples of our contest submissions. You can also view last years contest, and the year before! As you can see, it doesn’t even have to be “Dad” related. It can just be something fun that is special to your child at the moment that you want to remember forever. Use your imagination!

June is here and that means our Bring Your Own Prop Contest is underway. This is a great opportunity to make your portraits personal by bringing in something that is extra special to you and your family. Or, you can finally execute that Pinterest idea you’ve been thinking about!

Three winners will be chosen from a panel of judges. First Prize will get a $250 Portrait Simple Gift Card, Second Prize will get a $100 Portrait Simple Gift Card, and Third Prize will get a $50 Portrait Simple Gift Card.

With Father’s Day right around the corner, we want to officially kick off our 4th Annual Bring Your Own Prop Contest. This month, we encourage you to bring in something personal from home that will make your portraits with us extra special. It can be something Father’s Day related to make Dad’s gift that much better, or it can just be something meaningful to the family.

Three winners will be chosen from a panel of judges. First Prize will get a $250 Portrait Simple Gift Card, Second Prize will get a $100 Portrait Simple Gift Card, and Third Prize will get a $50 Portrait Simple Gift Card.
