2019 JDRF Smile for a Cure Winners!

Votes have been tallied and our winners are below! Congrats to Melanie, Carter, Olivia, and their families! We had another successful fundraiser thanks to all of you. Thank you to all who participated!

2019 Smile for a Cure Portrait Contest

 

Every July, we run an annual portrait contest called Smile for a Cure to benefit JDRF (formally known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). For a $10 donation, you get a free 5×7 and a chance to enter your child’s portrait in one of the 3 age groups in our contest (babies, toddlers, and big kids).

This July, over $1500 was raised for this wonderful cause. A big “thank you!” to all who entered!

Our judges have selected the top image per studio in each category, totaling in 16 finalists. All will receive a gift card to Portrait Simple for at least $100. If they make it to the top 3, they’ll win a $500 or $1,000 gift card instead!

Now it’s up to YOU to select the final three! Online voting is open now through Saturday, August 31st. Once voting is closed, and the top three are determined, the panel of judges will rank them, choosing a first and second runner up, as well as a Grand Prize Winner.

We Love Springtime!

The chill is starting to leave the air and we are sunshine and all thing Spring in our studios. The most cheerful thing being our lovable little bunnies that come to play with us every year. It’s the first of February and we can already feel the love (and chill) in the air! This is a great time of year to come in for portraits. We have more flexibility for appointment times and its a fun outing for the kids that doesn’t require lots of bundling up.
