If you can get Dad to come alone for your photo session, not only can you capture a moment in time…but you also have a great gift! We have signs and other props to help add a little flair into your standard image, but we encourage you to bring in Dad! Or, at least some of stuff! We have appointments available all week.
When it comes to Father’s Day images, your options are endless. We encourage you to think of Dad when it comes to getting portraits done of the kids to give as a gift. For the sports loving Dad’s, you can bring in a jersey of his favorite team or his old baseball glove. Every July, we run an annual portrait contest called Smile for a Cure to benefit JDRF (formally known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). For a $10 donation, you get a free 5×7 and a chance to enter your child’s portrait in one of the 3 age groups in our contest (babies, toddlers, and big kids).
This July, over $1500 was raised for this wonderful cause. A big “thank you!” to all who entered!
Our judges have selected the top image per studio in each category, totaling in 16 finalists. All will receive a gift card to Portrait Simple for at least $100. If they make it to the top 3, they’ll win a $500 or $1,000 gift card instead!
Now it’s up to YOU to select the final three! Online voting is open now through Saturday, August 31st. Once voting is closed, and the top three are determined, the panel of judges will rank them, choosing a first and second runner up, as well as a Grand Prize Winner.
